This week Amelia started grade 3! I can't believe how fast she's growing up. It just seems to zoom by. The first day went well, and thankfully her fears about getting a 'really mean teacher' are gone. She doesn't have a lot of her closest friends in her class this year, but there are a couple of girls she knows that were friends, so that's good. It will help to eliminate a lot of the "girl drama" time.
The new schedule has two "nutrition breaks", one at 10:45 and the other at 1:05....makes figuring out when to eat your lunch a little difficult. She ate the big part of her lunch the first day, at the second break but was starving. The second day, she at it at the first break and that seemed to work out better.
My baby is growing up....
