Here are my 11 Random things:

1) I used to smoke 2 1/2 packs of cigarettes a day...Quit about 10 years ago, before I got pregnant
2) I wear progressive lenses but was 20/20 vision until I was in my 30's...now can't drive at night or see far or even read a label without glasses.
3) My mother is German and my father Canadian (from Nova Scotia). She came over from Germany on a vacation, met my dad and never went home
4) I work at a bank and have for almost 30 years, my first job in the bank was ordering stock cheques (checks for my American friends)
5) My best friend Lisa and I have been friends since we were around 15 (32 years now)
6) I don't like mushrooms
7) my career goals when I was in high school was to be a secretary and I was early on in my career. I even had to do dictaphone and shorthand for some of my bosses...
8) I met Otis Williams from the Temptations with two of my girlfriends, when I was about 18, and we hung out with him for the evening after a show....fun!
9) My ears don't bend forward
10) My biggest achievement in life is my daughter Amelia...she's the best!
11) I only started running in 2008 because my best friend wanted to get some exercise.


Now to answer Linzi's Questions:

What is your favorite dish to make? Nothing really I hate to cook but do a lot of stuff in the crock pot covered in salsa.

Would you rather sing in a karaoke contest or be in a dance competition? Definitely the dance competition. Used to enter dance contests in the clubs all the time when I was young!

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would it be? I've been a lot of places but still want to go Alaska

Pepsi or Coke? Pepsi

What is your favorite movie? Sound of Music

High heels or flats? Definitely flats
Where were you born? Toronto, Ontario
Do you watch Reality TV? (If yes, which shows are your guilty pleasure?) Heck yeah...lots of it. Bachelor, survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother...to name a few...I love Reality TV except for the Housewives shows...don't watch those
Have you ever met anyone famous:
famous? (Name them if yes). What a coincidence mentioned this above, Otis Williams of Temptations.
What’s one thing you would like accomplish in 2012? Successful Boston Marathon
