I had a great year of running, here are some of my highlights:
April, 2012 - Ran the Boston Marathon. My best but slowest marathon yet (4:39:03)
May, 2012 - Just 3 weeks after Boston, ran the Mississauga Marathon in 3:53:46. My fastest marathon yet (by about 2 minutes) and BQ #2. Qualified me for 2013.
June, 2012 - Ran with Amelia in her first 5K! Mount Albert Sports Day 5K where she finished in 31:43, just shy of her 9th birthday
August, 2012 - Ran my first sub 25:00 5K (and a new PB) at the Carrotfast 5K in Bradford. Ran 24:51 (gun time).
October, 2012 - Ran my 8th Marathon at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, and while not a PB, it was my third BQ, which qualifies me for 2014!
October, 2012 - Qualified for the Championship race at the 5 Peaks Season Championship race at Albion Hills!
November, 2012 - Ran a 1/2 marathon PB at the inaugural Downsview Half Marathon
on November 11. Ran in 1:48:30
December, 2012 - Finished 5th in the Road Warrior Running Points race. Got some nice swag from that as well, a pair of winter running mitts, a fleece jacket and a 1/2 zip long sleeve running shirt!

Really awesome year Robin! You are always so consistent and very inspiring. All the best for 2013! I'm planning a big year as I turn 50 on 31 July :)
